Zelazny’s Lord of Light won the 1968 Hugo and became the foundation of stories of people becoming real gods and their dramatic consequences. George RR Martin has long stated that Game of Thrones was inspired by Lord of Light, readying now for TV production. The novel Lord of Light is acknowledged as the pinnacle in the genre of Science Fantasy. And is the basis for the SCIENCE FICTION LAND drawings by Jack Kirby. Designed by Barry Ira Geller and Inked by Mike Royer, the two discuss the possibilities for LORD OF LIGHT and SCIENCE FICTION LAND to come to TV and Film.
